The Plough Bowling club raised £200 for Macmillan Cancer Support through a bowls knockout tournament - enough to pay for a Macmillan nurse for a day.
The hosted the tournament to fund raise for Macmillan in memory of their friend Christine Powell.
Christine was supported by Macmillan nurses throughout her illness.
25 players took part with Les Grindrod and John Nyland making it to the final; seeing John crowned the winner of the Rose Bowl.
The club plans to hold the event annually to keep raising vital funds to help Macmillan support all those affected by cancer in Rochdale.
If you want to help raise vital funds to make sure no one in Greater Manchester has to face cancer alone, you can join over 4,000 people in the area who have already signed up to host a coffee morning.
To sign up for a free coffee morning kit with everything you need, visit coffee.macmillan.org.uk, text COFFEE to 80880 or ring 08450701317.
