Former Hornets player Les Jones has died

Former Hornets player Les Jones died last week.
Norman Starkie, Les' nephew, has contacted the club to inform them the funeral takes place on Friday 24 January, at St Joseph's, Chapel Street, Leigh, from 2pm followed by a service at 3pm at Leigh Crematorium. All are welcome to attend.
Les was part of the 1958 team that reached the semi final of the Challenge Cup.
