St Andrew's, Dearnley and Smithy Bridge
Anyone for Lind Dancing? On Saturday 15 March we have fun for all the family in the form of Lind Dancing, starting at 6.00pm.
This is an event to raise funds for the Stroke Association so we naturally hope it will be well attended.
Tickets, which include supper, cost £5.00. See Ada for more details or to purchase your tickets.
Our Lenten groups are as follows:
Wednesdays, 7.30pm at Wardle Village Church: 'Fit for Purpose', a look at our spiritual health both individually and as a Church. Led by Mike Howarth.
Thursdays, 7.30pm in the parish room: 'Seeking the Sacred', led by George Dobbs.
Mondays, 1.30pm at 13, Starring Way: 'Fit for Purpose' led by Wendy Foote.
On Saturday, March 29 we have a Quiet Day with Bishop Mark in Church from 10am to 1pm.
Parish rota on Sunday, March 9, is: lay assistants, J Mills, H Walker; readers, R Polley, G Kilpatrick; Intercessions, C Longhurst; sidespersons, V Lucy, P Webster; refreshments, Brenda, Rhona, Cynthia.
