The drama tells the story of Laurie who witnesses a terrible crime, only to find herself caught on camera. This original tale starts at 7pm on Thursday 24 April and features a short cast Q and A workshop following the show. Tickets can be purchased in advance only. See Mr De Courcey for more details.

A ‘tie-in’ competition to design a theatre poster for ‘See See TV’ has been released this week and is open to all years. Learners must design and colour a new theatre poster for our forthcoming production. There are three great prizes for the best three entries from all years. The closing date for the competition is Wednesday 23 April at the end of school day. More details can be obtained from the school website.

A Drama Department ‘Design a Costume and Mask’ Competition has also been launched last week and is based around the mythical creature of the Minotaur. The competition is open to learners from all years and entry forms are available from Community Tutors or Mr De Courcey. The closing date for the competition is Friday 2 May 2014. Please return all completed forms to the CEPA Office.

The CALL visit to Liverpool is now full for both the ‘F’ and ‘K’ Year 7 cohorts. Many thanks to all the learners who returned their money and forms so promptly. We also have a reserve list for each cohort. If you are unsure whether you have a place, please speak to Mr Ahmed or Mr Wilcock.

Our pictures for our recent ‘Neon’ Music show that took place last week are now available to view on the school website. Well done to all the learners who participated in the event and many thanks to all the parents, friends and families who came along to support the show. Thanks also to Mrs Costello who made us a lovely ‘Neon’ show cake to celebrate the evening.

Tickets for our forthcoming dance show, ‘Distraction’ go on sale this week, priced £3.00. For more details, please see Ms Wystawnoha. The dance show takes place on the evening of 22 May from 6pm until 8pm. Tickets are to be purchased in advance only.

Please speak to your teachers about what is on offer and ensure that you arrive promptly to reception for each event. Latecomers to sessions will not be admitted into the building. If a session runs over a longer period, please ensure that you bring a packed lunch as dining facilities will not be available.
