Burglary
Eight reports of burglary this week, three of these reports may have been avoided if the owners had not left the house doors insecure. Lighter nights are encouraging residents to get out into gardens more, chat to neighbours over the fence or clean cars but be aware of the opportunist burglars who are walking around and committing sneak in burglarys.
Lock all doors and windows and keep valuables out of sight. Remember to lock garages and sheds when mowing the lawn, etc.
