Three positive drugs warrants have been executed; at all three addresses officers discovered cannabis farms.

Officers from the Rochdale East Team took part in a Day of Action in Milnrow last week along with members of multiple other agencies. During part of the Operation officers teamed up with GMPTE Inspectors to tackle people who felt they were above paying their fare on the Metrolink. Officers issues 20 £50 fines. One of these was to a very disgruntled gentleman who had just had his car seized by officers after it was discovered he was driving after his license had been revoked.

A 19-year-old male has been arrested, he currently on conditional bail on suspicion of conspiracy to rob.

A 16-year-old male has been arrested, he currently on conditional bail on suspicion of robbery.

Littleborough Lakeside
13 April – 1.30am – 1.50am – Woodbank Road - Unknown offenders force open side door to property, they are disturbed and make off without gaining entry

11 – 13 April – 7.15am – 6.30pm – Heald Close - Unknown offenders use a bladed instrument to completely remove lower panel to the door of the property allowing offenders to climb through and into the address to steal electrical items and jewellery.

11 April – 3.15am – 3.30am – Bethel Green - unknown offenders approach address from street through insecure gate; use unknown implement raise electric garage door approx 1ft. Garage door locks into place and sets alarm off. Resident and witness go outside and upon seeing nobody closes the door; approx 15 minute later offenders return and re-enter the garden and raise the garage door 1ft from the ground. Resident hears and knocks on the window causing offenders to run off and get into a waiting motor vehicle before making off.

14 April – 8.20am – 5.25pm – Harbour Lane - Offender attempts to gain entry via uvpc front door using bodily force, he is disturbed and makes off before being arrested by officers.

Smallbridge & Firgrove

14 – 15 April – 1.00pm – 10.30pm – Great Howarth – Unknown offenders cause damage to flat door by unknown means, gain entry and steal property before making off unseen.

16 April – 8.45am – 1.30pm – Windham Street – Unknown offenders enter address through closed but unlocked rear door letting the victim’s dog loose. Offender is then disturbed and makes off.

16 – 17 April – 8.30pm – 6.15am – Watch Hall, Mill Gate – Offenders smash glass to allow them to reach in and take door key before gaining access to the property to steal items including spare key to address

12 April – 2.30am – 7.30am – Green Bridge Road – Offenders gain entry to property via kitchen window steal numerous items including vehicle keys.

12 April – 11.25am – Offenders gain entry by kicking rear patio door they enter property where they are disturbed by victims who are upstairs.

11 April – 11.00am – 7.25pm – Marland Ave – Offenders prize open wooden door and gain access to property and steal numerous items placing them in a bag and making off unseen.

11 April – 10.15pm – 10.40pm – Unknown offenders prize open shed door allowing them to steal items to smash rear patio door causing house alarm to sound and offenders to make off.
