40 Year 10 Art students visited the Manchester Metropolitan University to see the degree shows and exhibitions on Tuesday 17th June. The students were impeccably well behaved and this was commented on by our tour guide. The students saw Fashion, Fine Art, Sculpture, Painting, Photography, Animation, Jewellery Design and Graphic Illustration. The students said ‘the art work was inspiring’ and the trip ‘has given me the experience of seeing what a university is like’. We hope to work with one of the MMU designers next year by running a workshop with our students creating work with different media.
