Date published: 28 June 2014

Holy Trinity C of E Primary School held their annual summer fair today (Saturday 28 June).

The fair, which was organised by the school Parent and Teacher Association was raising money to help with school funds.

Headteacher Mr Kenyon said: “Money raised will help towards the building of a new library because our old library was turned into a classroom due to our expansion and then money will also help with things like the cost of trips.”

The fair included a BBQ, games, bouncy castle, soak the teacher, cakes and a number of raffles and tombolas.

The school hold the summer fair every year as well as a fair at Christmas.

“Everyone here is volunteering their time for free and are really supporting the school,” said Jennifer.

The school would usually raise around £2,000 across both fairs.

Jennifer added: “It has been really good today. We are only a small school and these fairs show that we are really well supported.”
