What a brilliant day we had on Friday enjoying the Year 6 production of ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’. An incredible amount of work has gone into this super speaking and listening project and we would like to thank all who came along to support us. Well done to our fantastic children (including support from Year 5) and a big thank you to all the staff involved.

What has now become our annual event our sponsored walk will be taking place on Wednesday 16 July. The children in Key Stage 2 will be walking to Hollingworth Lake, enjoying a picnic packed lunch and then walking back. The children in the Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 will be doing their walk around the school grounds.

Thank you in anticipation of the always generous support and donations. The children have decided that this year all donations will be sent to Barnardos.

Thank you to all who came along to support us for the Sports Days this week. We are sure you will agree the children had a fantastic time despite a drop or two of rain on Monday! Thank you to Mrs Casey, Mr Casey and Miss Wild for organising the events.

With us having had some sunny days recently, please can you ensure that you apply sun lotion before your children arrive at school. Please also give your child a hat to bring into school for protection. Thank you.
