Love Rochdale - Hate Litter
Date published: 13 July 2014
Members of the Rochdale Environmental Action Group, wearing their new reflective jackets with the message Love Rochdale - Hate Litter, donated byMohammad Ansari of Virgo, have been helpping local residents to clean up Dunster Avenue in Deeplish.
The back alley was cleaned and the residents promised the REAG volunteers they would keep it cleaned all the time.
REAG Secretary Ghulam Shahzad OBE said: "We were impressed with the response we received from from the residents. Men, women, children came out and offered their help. We need more and more people with the same passion for the Borough of Rochdale."
