Andrew Nutter back for Feel Good Festival

Date published: 16 July 2014

Local chef, Andrew Nutter will return to Rochdale Feel Good Festival next month. The flamboyant chef will be appearing in the Celebrity Kitchen on Friday 29 and Saturday 30 August.

Andrew has had a fascinating career since coming runner up in the National Junior Cook of the Year competition aged just 13. Seven years later he launched ‘Nutters’ Restaurant, which soon expanded into the 18th century manor house it occupies in Norden. He has won multiple awards, including Lancashire Chef of the Year, Restaurant of the Year, and the Courvoisier Award. He’s a regular on radio and on television and is always a popular guest on shows like ‘This Morning.’ He also hosted his own Channel 5 series ‘Utter Nutter’.

Andrew works alongside all the main supermarket chains, promoting regional and local produce and raises money for local charities. He’s a favourite at major cookery events around the UK.

Andrew will be appearing on Friday 29 and Saturday 30 August. He’ll be joining a line up which also includes the one and only Ainsley Harriott, BBC Fusion Chef Aazam Ahmad and another local chef - Peter Clough from the Norden Arms.

The summer festival is funded by Rochdale Borough Council together with sponsorship from local businesses including Rochdale Online, RRG Toyota, Rochdale Observer, Wheatsheaf Shopping Centre, Carillion, Balfour Beatty Living, Rochdale Sixth Form College, 96.2 The Revolution, The Flying Horse Hotel, Mango Bar, Rochdale Exchange, Link4Life, Public Health and the Maskew Fund.
