Year 10 students visit to Burnley Football Club
A small group of Year 10 Lead Students from Kingsway Park High School spent the morning at Burnley Football Club recently, where they received VIP Treatment.
They were met by Chief Executive of the club, Paul Fletcher MBE, who gave them a talk on his experience in football.
He then went on to explain how Burnley Football Club deliver undergraduate degree courses in the operational and business aspects of football and sports industries.
The students then had a mini lecture in the lecture theatre overlooking the Premier League Pitch, followed by a talk from Everton and England International Goalkeeper, Rachel Brown–Finnis.
The visit to Burnley Football Club finished with a Grand Tour of the facilities, which included sitting in the Directors Box.
