Pioneer Wednesdays
Date published: 31 July 2014
The first Pioneer Wednesday, on 23 July, saw families take part in bee crafts, a bee trail and children had their faces painted.
The second event, on 30 July, saw families make bunting to reflect the past, present and future of the Co-operative movement.
Museum Manager Jenny Mabbott says: “It is great to see families coming back each week and enjoying themselves and also to see new faces.”
All Pioneer Wednesdays are free to attend and you can drop in between 11am and 3pm with no need to book. Additionally during all Pioneer Wednesdays the recently developed Mini Pioneers Baskets will be available for children aged 0-5.
Pioneer Wednesday events are listed on Rochdale Online Events
