‘Disturbing graffiti’ left after a home was burgled in Wardle
Date published: 20 August 2014
A house on Ashbourne Close, Wardle, was burgled and vandalised over the evening of 13 August to the morning of 14 August.
No one was inside the property at the time, and the police were called at around 11:30am on the morning of 14 August.
Christopher Pickersgill, father of the owner of the property, said: “The burglars left some quite disturbing graffiti on the house saying ‘we will be back’.
"The house was empty as it had just recently been bought, so luckily there weren’t a lot of things for them to take.”
The police confirmed the burglary and believe it wasn’t a personal attack on the owners. No-one has been arrested so far.
