RRG Toyota Rochdale has ensured that the Heywood 1940s day event can continue after sponsoring the event with a donation of £700.
The car dealership has given the money to the Heywood Business Group to help them pay for the yearly event.
The event, which has run for six years, is a crowd pleaser often pulling in huge numbers and sees Heywood step back in time to the 1940s with an armed forces parade, displays and people dressing up.
Mike Goldrick, Vice Chairman of the Heywood Business Group, said: “It’s great that local businesses are supporting our town centre events and all of this money will go towards improving the event each year.”
Jared Griffin, General Manager of RRG Toyota Rochdale, said: “RRG is very happy to support Heywood 1940s Day, Heywood Business Group and the Armed Forces Parade and hope the next event goes from strength to strength.”
