Year 10 GCSE students help deliver lecture to PGCE students
Last week nine Whitworth Community High School GCSE Physical Education students went to Edge Hill University to help deliver a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) lecture with Mr Cawley.
After the PGCE students had learnt about the different PE Key Stage 4 specifications they had to create a new anagram for pupils to learn key words or ideas.
The PGCE students then had to deliver their ideas to the year 10s who were very enthusiastic.
After the lecture the PGCE course leader praised all the students saying that they had an excellent attitude and made a great contribution to the lesson.
The year 10 students then had the opportunity to walk around Edge Hill and look at the fantastic facilities on offer.
Well done to Danielle Palmer, Marcus Mangan, Chris Heath, Morgan Hewitt, Brandon Bull, Grace Bower, Mia Howells, Oban Davies and Katie Kershaw.
