Can you give Beauty a home?

Date published: 29 January 2015

Beauty, a dog who has been looked after by the RSPCA Rochdale Animal Centre since November, is now ready to find a loving home forever.

Beauty was taken to the centre after getting into a fight with another dog and being horrifically injured.

Now, after spending time healing, Beauty is ready to find a home.

Jean Spencer, RSPCA Animal Centre Branch Manager said: “She is doing absolutely fine. She has come a long way since she first came to us and it is now time that she had a stable home.”

Beauty is fully house trained, micro chipped and good on a lead. She is a friendly dog but does get giddy so will need a confident owner who is willing to continue training her.

The RSPCA is recommending a family with no other pets and people who are not away from the house for long periods of time. It is advised that she should only be left alone for short periods of time – a maximum of three hours. She also needs to have lots of exercise.

It is also recommended that if children are in the family, they should be over 10 years old.

Jean added: “She is a loving dog who has stolen the hearts of all of the staff. She will make a fantastic and loyal companion.”

Anyone interested in meeting Beauty can arrange a visit by calling 01706 861897 or by calling into the centre between 11:30am and 3:30pm during the week – except Wednesdays.
