Hamer Community Primary School
It was with regret that the school closed on Friday. Fingers crossed for some more settled weather and thank you, as always, for our parents support. As we were unable to have celebration assembly on Friday, we will celebrate and give out awards on Tuesday 3 February at 10.30am. Parents of reward winners will be more than welcome to come and celebrate with us as always.
The Citizens of the week for week ending 30 January was awarded to Mr Nadin’s Literacy Group for all working extremely hard for Mrs Flynn on Simile/Metaphor and Personification.
We would inform parents that under no circumstances when dropping off and collecting children must anyone double park and leave their car blocking in others, complaints about this issue are on the rise in general. Please use the M6 Theatre car park and walk down.
Community Cohesion Ambassadors from Hamer and Marland Hill met last Wednesday to work together on making town maps and plans of all of the things to create a harmonious, cohesive community. Their ideas, as always, were outstanding. Well done.
