Power cut in Littleborough
Date published: 23 February 2015
Some residents in Littleborough have been left without power today (Monday 23 February) following a high voltage fault.
Electricity North West say the fault is due to damage of their equipment and that engineers are aware of the problem and are on site completing repairs.
It is understood that the problem began last night (Sunday 22 February) at around 11.23pm, affecting around 1,737 properties.
Engineers then restored power to 500 homes within a few minutes, with a further 600 being restored an hour later.
As of 1.30pm today, 29 properties were still without power with engineers working hard to restore the power.
Electricity North West said: “We apologise for the inconvenience caused by the interruption to your supply and our engineers will work to restore your power as soon as possible.”
