Police News – Rochdale East

Inspector Niall Pawson: "Our priorities remain tackling burglaries and working closely with victims of domestic abuse offering reassurance and assistance ensuring victims get the best possible help and support.

"In relation to tackling crime on the Rochdale East Neighbourhood this week a warrant was successfully executed on Daventry Road, and cannabis plants which were being grown were recovered at the scene.

"Can I also ask you to be vigilant in relation to car crime, we are currently experiencing a number of registration plate thefts. Over the past couple of weeks we have experienced 12 crimes involving the theft of number plates."

Vehicle Crime

It has been another busy week this week in relation to vehicle crime, in total there has been 19 vehicles crimes, these are five theft of motor vehicles, 12 theft from a vehicle and two vehicle interference crimes.
