Wardleworth Community Centre celebrate those who have completed Focus Employable and Successful training course

Date published: 03 April 2015

Twenty people who have completed the Employable and Successful training course at Wardleworth Community Centre celebrated coming to the end of the course on Tuesday (31 March) with a presentation of certificates from the Mayor of Rochdale Carol Wardle.

Miah Mohammed, from Wardleworth Community Centre, said: “It went very well. The students were pleased that the Mayor came along and presented them with their certificates.”

This was the first visit to the centre for Mayor Wardle.

The project, which was funded by an ESF Community Learning Grant, was targeted at unemployed people looking to maximise their potential.

Mr Mohammed added: “The course was a one off due to the funding we received, but if we were to get the funding again in the future, it is certainly something we would look at running again.”
