Springhill Hospice launches Go Green Day 2015

Date published: 14 April 2015

Springhill Hospice has officially launched this year’s Go Green Day.

To celebrate the launch, Springy the Hospice Frog was seen decorating cars with Go Green merchandise including this year’s Go Green car flags.

This year, Springhill Hospice is asking members of the local community, businesses, schools and organisations to turn green on Friday 15 May.

70% of Springhill’s funding has to be obtained through charity events, charity shops, legacies and donations. With a running cost of £7,500 per day, it is important that everyone gets involved so that the Hospice can carry on its work.

The staff and volunteers at Springhill Hospice work tirelessly every day to provide a comfortable and compassionate service to their patients. This service would not be possible without the generosity of the local community to help with funding for medical equipment and daily essentials.

Every act of fundraising is beneficial.

You can get your hands on Go Green merchandise at the Springhill Hospice Tea Rooms, Springhill Hospice or from the Rochdale Online Department Store:
