Hamer Community Primary School

Date published: 19 June 2015

Seven Upper Key Stage 2 girls represented the school on Monday at a netball tournament at Marland Hill School. The team did fantastic by reaching the final, only narrowly missing out on being the winners. Well done to all who took part they were super role models for our school.

This week Miss Bradshaw, Mrs Terry and Mrs Coward have been to see most of the families of our new Reception children in their homes. It was lovely to meet parents and children and we look forward to welcoming them to Hamer school in September.

Nursery Reading Book Launch

On Friday afternoon parents were invited to join in with Miss Bradshaw and Mrs Hoyle for a fun filled book launch. This is to encourage parents and children to enjoy reading together and the fun everybody can experience from books!! Children were allowed to take a book with a book bag home to continue the reading joys at home. Children will return the books on a weekly basis

We would just like to say a big thank you to all parents and children for making an effort with school uniform. It is lovely to see all our children dressed smartly and ready to work for the coming school day. Well done and keep it up.
