Well done to Mr Khan’s class for the best attendance for week ending 3 July 2015.
Please support us by ensuring that your child is on time and in school every day.

The children reports were sent home on Friday. If any parents have any questions or would like to talk to their children’s class teacher about their child’s report, please contact them at school to arrange a convenient time.

Year 6 Events:

  • Tuesday 14 July: Year 6 OSCARS Awards Ceremony: Parents to arrive at 3.15pm.
  • Wednesday 15 July: Cinderella Afternoon Performance, parents to arrive at 1.45pm.
  • Thursday 16 July: Cinderella Morning Performance, parents to arrive at 9.30am.
  • Tuesday 21 July; Year 6 Leavers Assembly, parents to arrive at 9am

We look forward to sharing some truly special end of Year 6 moments with our very proud Year 6 Hamer families.

There will be no extra-curricular clubs from next week until they start up again in the Autumn Term. The only lunchtime club that will continue next week is the Ukulele group.

Please note that school closes for summer, with Tuesday 21 July being the last day in school. Please, let us aim for 100% attendance between now and then.

At Hamer, we very much value our partnership with our very supportive families. We would like to ask that as many of our parents as possible take some time to complete the Parent View survey which is encouraged by school and the Department for Education. You will find the link on the drop down menu on the Parent’s section on the website. Thank you very much for taking the time to offer your feedback.

Winners of Monster Maths are:

Well done and thank you to everyone who took part in the Maths Monsters challenge again.

The Highways Agency have now got back to school to say that the subway will be cleaned and made more pleasant again but they have said that this work will take place over the next ten days. We just wanted you to know that school has been on the case again.
