Funeral of Dean Wharmby to take place on Monday 3 August

Friends and family of Dean Wharmby will get together on Monday (3 August) to celebrate his life.

His funeral will take place at St Chad’s, Rochdale Parish Church from 1:45pm.

Those who knew Dean have been invited, as well as Dean’s clients and those who followed his journey.

Dean, a former bodybuilder and person trainer, died on 19 July at Springhill Hospice following a battle with liver cancer. He attracted more than 13,000 followers on Facebook, where he posted updates and videos of his fight with the disease.

A small service will also take place at Rochdale Crematorium, followed by a wake and anyone who wants to attend should contact Dean’s partner Charlotte Rigby via Facebook.
