A woman who was found murdered in Heywood has been named as Katelyn Parker.
Shortly after 3:50pm on Friday 14 August 2015, police found the body of 24-year-old Katelyn in a blue Nissan NX100 on River Street, Heywood.
Paying tribute, her family said: "Katelyn was a loving and special person. She saw the best in everybody and was happiest when spending time with her friends and family.
“Katelyn was a vibrant and sociable young woman with a big heart and an even bigger smile. She will leave a void in all our lives and her death under such tragic circumstances is something that we will never be able to come to terms with.”
A post-mortem examination was carried out to determine the cause of Katelyn’s death which has now been determined as ligature strangulation.
