A woman was treated for smoke inhalation following fire a at flat on Tweedale Street his morning (Saturday 29 August).
Firefighters were called to the fire at a first floor flat and crews from Rochdale, Oldham and Littleborough attended due to reports indicating that someone was inside of the building. Following an inspection, no one was found to be inside.
Crews were called at 10:50am and used breathing apparatus, hose reels and positive pressure to extinguish the fire.
The woman who received treatment for smoke inhalation at the scene was from an adjacent property.
