Tribute to David Plumb

The family of David Plumb, who died following a road traffic collision in Rochdale, has paid tribute to him.

Shortly before 8.00am on Thursday 20 August 2015, police were called to Falinge Road, Rochdale to reports that a lorry and a Mercedes A160 had been involved in a collision near to Falinge High School.

Emergency services attended and David John Smith, also known as David John Plumb, who had been driving the Mercedes was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

Paying tribute to him, his family said:

"The sad loss of David John Plumb. David will be sadly missed by all family and friends. 

"Wonderful father to David and Paul. Loving son of Richard and the late Frances. Loving brother to Richard, Nicola and the late Thomas. Loving uncle to Nicola, Will, Thomas, Ricky and Hermione.

"Those who love us don't go away; they walk beside us every day."
