Year 10 Football: Cardinal Langley 0 - Falinge Park 8
Date published: 17 September 2015
Falinge Park High School
Tuesday 15 September saw Team Falinge begin their season with an imperious and compelling display of attacking football.
Team Falinge began strongly with good possession football garnering a number of efforts on target. As one effort bounced back of the goalkeeper, Chris Bonde opened up his account for the season. He followed this up with another goal shortly afterwards after some more good approach play. On the stroke of halftime Tom Hartley extended the Falinge lead. Half-time 0-3.
Second half and with the opposition making 11 changes, Team Falinge put on an impressive display of teamwork, resilience and commitment to build up a commanding lead. Man of the Match Tom Hartley latched onto a through ball to dispatch an exquisite left foot half volley. Callum Harrison picked up where he left off last season by grabbing a quick-fire hat trick of his own that was full of class and panache. As Team Falinge dominated the ball with a period of Barcelona-esque pass and move, Chris Bonde neatly tucked away the goal of the game as he completed his hat trick on the final whistle. Full time 0-8.
Falinge Park Squad: Liam Dawson, Matthew Macrae (c) , Trey Doyle, Saqib Ahmed, Atif Latif, Kamrul Hussain, Callum Harrison, Chris Bonde, Noorul Islam, Tom Hartley, Yusuf Khan, Kai Saville, Jake Watson and Harry Roche
