Fire caused by deep fat fryer at The Kebab House

The kitchen of The Kebab House, on Milkstone Road, caught fire on Thursday (8 October) - the fire started due to a deep fat fryer.
The fire service were called at 8:08pm to reports of the incident. When they arrived, they extinguished the fire, which had started in the rear of the property, using a hose reel.
Adjoining properties were also checked for damage and the ground floor flat of the Coral shop next door was found to have smoke damage. Firefighters used fans to get rid of the smoke.
No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
