Siddal Moor students in skills session with England Rugby Players
Date published: 27 October 2015
Two students from each year group were selected to attend a community engagement event at Eccles RUFC. The event was designed to develop links between England Rugby Union and schools involved in the All Schools programme.
Staffs were involved in a training session discussing how England Rugby can help drive improvement in schools.
Students were involved in skills sessions lead by England players including Sam Burgess, Courtney Lawes, Ben Youngs and England's Head Coach, Stuart Lancaster.
There was even time for a few autographs and photos with the players. Students had an amazing afternoon and left the event with a renewed passion for developing Rugby Union at Siddal Moor.
