Our nursery prepared for their school photos on the 18 November by having a visit from the Golden Grin Team who showed everyone the importance of and how to clean their teeth.

Freddy Fit has been in school again training our new Sports Leaders. This will keep all our children active and healthy. We also have Karate and Boxercise in school this term.

Work has begun on the Key Stage 1 playground thanks to the £10,000 National Lottery grant we received recently. We can’t wait to see the children play on it.

Thanks to all who supported our Children in Need fundraising events we raised £234.89 well done.

Year Six visited Crucial Crew this week. Working with the emergency services, Rochdale Housing and safety team. They have been learning how to keep themselves safe and be good citizens.

Nursery visited Build a Bear in Bury and designed their own bear. Thank you very much to the parents who accompanied the children and joined in the fun.

Star Assembly awards were presented to:

  • Y1 Callum Young Winnie and Declan Lever
  • Y2 Cameron Mason and Amber Cain
  • Y3 William Strand and Cavan Pounder
  • Y4 Kian Jones and Clara Corbally
  • Y5 Hafiz Abdul and Brady Mellor
  • Y6 Holly Maclean, Brady Shepherd Conwell and Lucy Parkes
  • Best Class Attendance was Year 5 98.1 % 
  • Golden Bin Winners were Year 5
  • House Point Winners were Weavers with 925 points
