Middleton men held in Peru over drug smuggling

Two Middleton men have been arrested in South America on suspicion of drug smuggling.
Dexter Elliott and Kevin Fowler, both 24, were detained in Peru on Sunday 2 October.
The pair were arrested by Peruvian authorities as part of an ongoing investigation into the supply of controlled drugs, West Yorkshire Police said.
The Foreign Office is in touch with their families and is providing consular assistance.
