Go Shoeless for Shoe Aid
Rochdale Hornets have done their bit to help highlight the 300 millions children globally who don’t own a pair of shoes.
The players and coaching staff were only too happy to take off their boots to support the Shoe Aid campaign.
Shoe Aid is a community interest company established to raise awareness and help the 300 million children worldwide who do not have the ability to obtain a pair of shoes, which are necessary for hygienic and health reasons, for work and school, due to the devastating ills of poverty.
Hornets were the first sporting club to get involved.
Hornets Chairman Mark Wynn said: “It was a pleasure to help a great cause.”
