Jude English chosen to represent England in the GB three nation’s tournament
Jude English, 14, as been chosen to represent England in the GB three nation’s tournament. The two day event will take place at the Doncaster Dome on Friday 1 July and Saturday 2 July.
Jude said: “It's a great honour boxing for my country.
“I hope I fulfil all of your expectations and come home with a medal.”
Hamer Amateur Boxing Club head coach said: "This is an incredible achievement for both Jude and our boxing club. Jude as only been boxing for two years and has reached the National Schoolgirl finals on both occasions.
"She will be matched against the best from Scotland, Wales and England and we hope she brings home a medal for our town.
"We are very proud of her and of what this small club has achieved over this past year with two other boxers in Mehran Khan and Adam Earnshaw reaching the national semi-finals as well."
