A double header against Championship opposition at Spotland follows, as Dale host Blackburn Rovers (Tuesday 19 July) and Wigan Athletic (Saturday 23 July).

Trips to Macclesfield Town and FC United bring an end to the pre-season schedule before the 2016-17 Sky Bet League One season gets underway.
