Holy Trinity Lacrosse team
The year six Lacrosse team from Holy Trinity Primary School, Littleborough, reached the quarter finals of the National Lacrosse Championships, held recently at Sheffield Ponds Forge.
Proud dad of ‘head boy’ Louis Nicholson, Rob Nicholson said: “The kids have done really well. They went from competing with schools around Greater Manchester to schools from Ireland, Scotland and Wales. It was a big deal for them and it is a great achievement for them to get into the quarter finals.
“They didn’t get through that round, unfortunately they lost to a school in London, but what matters is how far they came in the first place. It’s something to be really proud of. What a team they are.”
Holy Trinity was approached for comment.
