Heybrook battled their way to the top by scoring 27 goals and conceding just three in order to be crowned champions.

On Saturday the team was presented with their medals and trophies by Rochdale players on the pitch at half time of the Rochdale versus Bristol Rovers match.

A spokesperson for the schhol said: "It was an amazing moment for the pupils and all of the staff, who turned out in numbers to show their appreciation and support.

"The pupils completed a lap of honour and were overwhelmed by the tremendous cheers and applause they received from both the home and away fans."

Heybrook go on to represent Rochdale in the national finals, which will be held in Bradford on the 8 March.
