Date published: 20 March 2017
East Lancs junior riders were out in force competing in the juvenile and junior categories at the Manchester & District Time Trial Association’s Junior Championships.
The J2/3 course around Twemlow and Chelford was used but the weather was poor and times were expected to be down on the previous week, which most were.
Max Bentley ignored the weather and did a personal best time of 28:28 minutes; Nicole Decamps recorded 34:35 minutes; Joe Cooke delivered a personal best time of 28:17 minutes; Niamh Coulter recorded 32:32 minutes; Noah Codling recorded 27:50 minutes; Jack Millar recorded 26:50 minutes and Oliver Bentley delivered a personal best time of 27:09 minutes.
East Lancs veteran Darryl Nolan was the only senior rider taking part and he recorded a time of 30:52 minutes.
