Waltons Fishing Club
Anglers at Waltons Fishing Club, Rochdale have been enjoying the start of the fishing season in style as anglers on the bank last week caught up to 11 different varieties of fish.
Nice common and mirror carp to 15lb, ide to 2lb, crucian carp, tench, roach, rudd, perch, barbel, gudgeon and bream have been showing following the recent stocking of both club waters.
The club launched its first junior match fishing championship last season in which Matthew Eaton claimed the trophy.
As an incentive to get families fishing and children outside, the club is offering under 12s fish for free with one paying adult.
