Swimming: Aquabears win 19 gold, 14 silver and 14 bronze medals

Aquabears took a strong squad of 20 swimmers aged between nine and 14 to the Burnley Bobcats Swimming Meeting at the weekend and came away with a medal haul of 19 gold, 14 silver and 14 bronze medals.
William Armstrong, Bailey Boyde-Aust and Danny Cannavan won gold medals in their races.
Harry Walsh won one gold, three silver and a bronze Medal from his five5 races.
Emily Unsworth won three gold and two silver medals from her five races.
Emma Blair came away with three gold and a silver Medal.
Nine-year-old Tyler Booth won gold for the 50m fly.
Charlotte Tilley and Jessica Sunderland both won gold in their respective 50m breaststroke races.
Joshua Latham and his sister Emily swam some personal best times with both obtaining outstanding improvements in their times for the 400m freestyle race, as did Reece Griffiths.
Twins Emily and Amy Wilson made improvements in their times in every race they swam.
