Dale ticket and travel news - Portsmouth

Dale’s League One fixture versus Portsmouth on the opening day of the 2017-18 season, Saturday 5 August, is all ticket.

Due to the number of season tickets sold by Portsmouth, home and away fans will share the same stand (Milton End), limiting tickets for visiting supporters.

Rochdale has been given a full allocation of 600 tickets for the match. This is the final amount and will not be increased.

Fans must purchase tickets in advance as there will be no option to pay on the day. Do not travel without a ticket.

Tickets are on sale at the RAFC ticket office until 3pm on Friday 4 August.

Tickets can be purchased in person at the ticket office, or by calling 08448261907 (option 8). Tickets ordered over the phone can be collected at Fratton Park on the day of the match. Fees apply on tickets bought over the phone.

Prices:

Adult - £23.00
Senior (63+) - £17.00
Young Person (18-22) - £15.00
Unaccompanied Junior (U 18) - £10.00
Accompanied juniors (U18) with a paying adult/senior - £5.00
Wheelchair and carer - £14.00
Ambulant - £15.00
Ambulant (junior) - £10.00
Carers (required to be on highest rate of DLA) – Free

Wheelchair users should contact the Portsmouth ticket office directly for tickets by calling 0345 646 1898. Wheelchair bays for visiting fans are located in a home area of the ground, in front of the Fratton End.

The tickets state League Two as Portsmouth's new design has yet to arrive. These tickets will be valid for the match.

Travel

Bookings are now being taken for for travel to Portsmouth - price per seat is £30.

Departure details: 

  • Littleborough (at the Train Station, opposite the Co-operative) – 7.15am.
  • Rochdale (outside the Town Hall) – 7.30am.
  • Crown Oil Arena – the coach will depart the Crown Oil Arena at 8am prompt
