Seb Moore Karting
Seven-year-old Seb Moore came second overall at the BKC National on Lydd Race Circuit in Kent last weekend.
After a frustrating weekend at round four, Seb needed a consistent weekend to keep the championship chase alive.
Saturday testing was tough for Seb, however, despite no prior testing at the track or track knowledge, Seb's lap times came down throughout the day.
Seb upped his game on race day (Sunday) and from heat one was obvious he had the pace to run up front.
He finished:
- Heat 1 - second
- Heat 2 - first
- Heat 3 - third
- Heat 4 - second
Securing him second place overall and a spot on the podium for the Newhey Primary pupil who is only in his first season of karting.
Round six heads is at the GYG Circuit in Wales, a stones throw away from Snowdonia. A more technical track, which will be a challenge for all drivers and will make for a great spectacle.
