Football: Zach Clough joins Dale on loan from Nottingham Forest

Date published: 31 August 2018

Zach Clough has joined Rochdale Football Club until January from Championship side Nottingham Forest.

The 23-year-old forward came through the youth ranks at Bolton Wanderers, who he joined at the age of eight.

He made 68 appearances for Bolotn before joining Nottingham Forest on transfer deadline day in January 2017, signing a four-and-a-half-year deal.

Clough has played 31 times for Forest, including starting in their FA Cup third round victory over Arsenal in January of this year.

He rejoined boyhood club Bolton on-loan for the remainder of the 2017/18 season, contributing to their survival in the Championship, which was secured on the final day of the season.

Clough will wear squad number 26 during his time at the club.

The deal is subject to confirmation from the EFL.
