A Rochdale-born boxer will return to action next month for the first time since the pandemic began.
Muhammad Ali, who became the first type one diabetic boxer to receive a professional licence in the UK, will be looking to continue his 100% record at the University of Bolton Stadium on 18 February.
While Ali’s opponent is yet to be confirmed, he could face the likes of Liam Taylor or Jack Rafferty, both of whom boast superb records in their professional careers thus far.
Ali is an ambassador for Diabetes UK and backs himself to become a world champion in the near future, despite his condition.
The boxing star was keen to thank Abbott UK and Hench supplements for their support with his diabetes and diet throughout the pandemic.
