Rochdale Brazilian Jiu Jitsu fighter Andrew Perez won gold in his latest fight in London on 3 September.
The Holy Family RC & CE College pupil competed in the Nova Grappling Tournament with a brilliant performance, securing gold after fighting four experienced opponents.
Andrew’s next competition will be the European Championship in Wolverhampton where he and his younger brothers Collin and Ethan will be facing the best fighters around Europe.
