Roman Scraggs with coach Martyn Lynch and dad Pete Scraggs
Middleton Select fighter Roman Scraggs has been crowned the North West Cadet Boxing champion.
Roman won the 71-75kg title after defeating Jack Dobson, of Sale West Boxing Club, at Blackburn Youth Zone on 27 January.
Coach Martyn Lynch said: “After only having six bouts, Roman won a very hard-fought contest. We are all very proud of him; well done.”
Roman will be fighting again in Liverpool this week.
