New players (aged 12+) and teams are wanted for the Rochdale Ladies Rounders League.
The league has been running for over 50 years with a good turnout of 30 teams in the past.
However, due to covid restrictions and the suspension of games, the league lost a number of teams once the season restarted.
There are currently 24 teams and at least three more teams are wanted.
The league is a friendly bunch with mixed ages ranging from 12 upwards.
Sue McQuillan, of the Rochdale Ladies Rounders League, said: “We would love to hear from any new teams as well as individuals who are interested in joining a team.
“The rounders season runs from May to September with games played at Firgrove Playing Fields on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7pm.
“Occasional tournaments are played on a Sunday.”
She added: “Training usually starts at the beginning of March so if anyone is interested, please get in touch before 20 March so we can sort teams and fixtures.”
Training starts in April. If you are interested, please call either Sue on 07732 316 782 or Lucia on 07902 361 892 before 20 March.
Enquiries can also be made by email.
