Dale looking into groundshare possibility

Rochdale Football Club has confirmed that it is looking into a proposed groundshare with Oldham Athletic.
Speculation about the possible move, which would see Dale and Oldham either share one existing ground or move to a new one built between the two towns, had risen after Oldham officials stated they had given serious consideration to the possibility.
Rochdale chairman Chris Dunphy confirmed that he had been approached by his Oldham counterpart Simon Corney over the possibility of a move.
Mr Dunphy said: "Whilst we are not discarding the possibility of this move, this is as far as negotiations have gone so far. We would certainly like to look into the idea further, but at the moment things are still at the earliest possible stage."
