Rose joins Dale on non-contract terms
Date published: 14 February 2013
Manager Keith Hill has strengthened his squad further with the addition of defender Michael Rose, subject to the relevant clearance from the Football League and FA.
The 30-year-old, who left Colchester United in January, joins Dale on non-contract terms and is Hill’s second signing of the week following the arrival of Ritchie Jones on Tuesday.
Rose started his career at Manchester United before having spells at Chester, Hereford and Yeovil Town. A four year stay at Stockport County followed during which he enjoyed a loan spell at Norwich City. In the summer of 2010 he joined Swindon Town and has most recently been at Colchester United where he featured 24 times this season before his departure last month.
